If you have recently refinanced your home or purchased new property, we would like to remind you that it is very important to hold title of the real property in the name of your Living Trust. When refinancing your real property some mortgage companies require that the home be taken out of the trust, if this is the case, please make sure the mortgage company puts the home back in the trust. If they do not, then contact our office and we will assist you with this. Some title companies require a copy of the entire trust, if this is the case, you will need to comply with their rules. Some mortgage companies have a Trust Certification Form that needs to be completed, we are happy to assist you in completing this form. Please note that each mortgage company has their own rules and regulations regarding refinancing. It is extremely important that your real property be titled in your trust.
