In the beginning of January, news broke out that Patrick Schwarzenegger was given the ultimatum by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver that he needed to end his relationship with Miley Cyrus or he would lose his interest in the trust fund he is due to receive at the age of 25. It was said that both Arnold and Maria believed Miley was a bad influence on their son and they want to end the relationship. Reportedly, Patrick is calling their bluff and has continued seeing Miley. Since then, it has been reported that Arnold approves of the relationship, but Maria does not and still stands firm with her decision.
Many parents disapprove of their children’s decisions. We have seen parents remove their children as recipients of their funds due to “poor” decisions. This topic can stir up a lot of issues and conflicted feelings. We all differ in our views of wrong and right.
