Many of our clients request an electronic copy of their executed estate planning documents. Unfortunately, we do not provide electronic copies to our clients. A client may take the executed copy home and scan it to create an electronic copy. The law firm is exploring the possibility of providing electronic copies to clients. Our concerns include the client’s confidentiality and avoiding the tampering of documents. Our Law Firm is conducting the necessary due diligence before committing to providing an electronic copy. We do hope all of our clients understand that we care about safeguarding the integrity of client documents and given some professional constraints and our own personal experiences with clients, Falk, Barrot & Associates needs to complete its research. Ultimately the decision needs to be in the best interest of our clients during their lifetime and protecting their heirs and beneficiaries.
